At La Boca Loca, our mission is to re-create the flavours of our childhoods, using fresh, responsibly produced, sustainable cuisine. We use organic and fair trade produce whenever possible. We combine sustainably raised and sourced beef, pork, chicken and seafood with carefully sourced traditional ingredients like dried chiles, handmade tortillas, and salsas. Together with our love and respect for Mexican food and culture, our seasonally-changing menu presents delicious updates to classic dishes, served to you in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Our Food
We are committed to serving you food that is made fresh every day from organic, local and sustainable sources. We use the very best local produce, including locally line-caught fish, free-range & organic meat, eggs and dairy products. We also adjust our menu to reflect seasonal changes. Because of this, our menu and prices are subject to change.
The items listed in our menus (above) are a representative sample of what we usually offer. The details may change with the seasons and what we can source on the day. We offer many vegetarian (V) and gluten-free (GF) dishes. Ask your server for our dairy-free and vegan options. Please inform us if you have any severe food allergies, as we cannot guarantee the absence of nut traces in our food. Many of our menu items are also available as takeaways.
Our bar features our famous margaritas, which earned us a place in Time Out Melbourne's list of Wellington's Top Five Bars, local and Mexican beers, wines and a great range of tequilas and mezcals - some of which can't be found anywhere else in New Zealand.
